last time Lynda from Nutrition For Life got in front of my camera was about 5 years ago, so it was time to do it again. i actually love this photo even more than the last one: the mood is very serene and i think the light and colours suit her perfectly… and all using natural sunlight!

give back with make give live… 20 feb ’19
Wednesday, February 20th, 2019i believe it’s important to give back. use what talents and resources are unique to you, and do something for someone else. not only does this benefit others – but it also benefits you the giver and over time will make you a more grateful, compassionate, generous, and appreciative person.
Make Give Live is a wonderful initiative which involves volunteers from all over coming together to make lovely handmade knit and crochet items to benefit those in need. their range of commercially available pieces in their catalogue act as fundraisers for their wider purpose which is to give away high quality warm and wearable accessories to the vulnerable, the homeless, the aged, and others with limited personal resources. check out their website and if you’re a knitter or a crocheter – or you’d like to become one – then get in touch with a group near you to become one of their makers.
here’s some snippets from Claire & Becky’s latest collection photoshoot last week 🙂 they have many more designs and products than what is pictured here so make sure to go check them out!
previewing autumn with cetus knits… 17 feb ’19
Sunday, February 17th, 2019the backdrop for this late evening knitwear shoot was one tree hill on a beautiful late summer evening. Mira from Cetus Knits has worked her magic again, and brought along two more samples for my camera to play with – a brand new shawl, and a lovely thick cosy blanket (which became a gift for a loved one afterwards). the local sheep played along and even mananged to look a bit curious as to why the three of us were invading their space 🙂
