a special photoshoot for this family, as they were preparing to leave NZ, returning to Canada to live – and they wanted some birthplace memories for little Alice to carry to her new home. i especially enjoyed this session because not only were the family very relaxed and loads of fun – but wee Alice decided i wasn’t scary at all, to the point where she would run out of the photo to come see me! at the end of the shoot, she didn’t want me to leave so we had to play on the swings for a while to distract her.
her mum was very surprised, because usually Alice didn’t like new people. but apparently, this gorgeous little girl loved meeting me so much, that she actually added me to her list of favourite people she mentions at bedtime each night!
when it came time to choose their favourite images from the session they couldn’t decide, and ended up buying them all – job well done 🙂 here’s my faves…
