another wedding last summer where i was the second photographer: this time, i was working for Nykie of Mistral Photography – yay! Nykie is so much fun to work with – she’s a little bit crazy but all in good ways, and her clients adore her! she’s super talented too 🙂

i love to work with other photographers and their clients – it’s very low-pressure, and i get the chance to really spend time being creative. and i also know that my shots are taking some of the load off the main shooter – because let’s face it, being everywhere at once is really quite tiring 😉

sprinkling rain did not dampen spirits at this gorgeous and simple wedding last summer. i was co-shooting for Fstop Studios – this was the first time i had worked with Bret Lucas and it was super fun! i thought i would be a little intimidated because he’s a very experienced highly technical photographer, specialising in lighting – kinda the opposite to my style really! but not at all: he’s such a nice guy and even gave me control of some of the formal portraits! Bret kindly gave me permission to publish some of my own favourite shots from the day – so here they are! first: preparation photos 🙂
