our long summer holidays are the perfect time to catch up with distant and extended family… and that’s just what these guys did! i went to Lillian’s lovely big home in january to photograph four families in one… 14 people altogether, three generations under one roof. and due to the terrible wet weather, we really were all under one roof! thank goodness for a huge lounge room and sofa!

christmas eve is family time… 24 dec ’12
Monday, December 24th, 2012time to blog some more sessions from this summer 🙂
here’s a session booked by the grandparents, for Christmas Eve when all the family has come together from across the country – perfect time for photographs of course! new baby Samuel was included along with his two lovely sisters, and his cousins as well.
first we did a few photos with the cousins on their own, because while Emmie and Evie had their own shoot a few months ago, and Samuel when he was a newborn; these two never did. and then we threw everyone in together for the rest of the session which was great fun as you will see…
lemons in the morning… 5 dec ’10
Sunday, December 5th, 2010who says that a lemon tree has to be big to sit under it? and who says that lemons don’t make a tasty summer snack? i like to challenge assumptions such as these – and this lucky family was the recipient!
here’s the sneak peek for those who don’t remember – and in that post, i promised another lemon-related photo, which is coming up at the end of this entry. this family (who are my good friends, even after what i asked them to do!) were great sports and it was a lot of fun working with them at their home.
