celebrate your teen with family photos… 25 oct ’15
October 25th, 2015there comes a time in a teen’s life when… their parents horrify them with the words “we are getting family photos done this month”. often this news is greeted with dismay, anxiety, or straight up disgust, hehe… and so it becomes my job to make sure these self-conscious young people feel safe in front of my camera: that i won’t make them look foolish, awkward, or ask them to act in a way which clashes with their personality. my favourite moment is when i show them their photos and see the look of relief and even pleasure when they realise they are actually pleased with the result.
