sprinkling rain did not dampen spirits at this gorgeous and simple wedding last summer. i was co-shooting for Fstop Studios – this was the first time i had worked with Bret Lucas and it was super fun! i thought i would be a little intimidated because he’s a very experienced highly technical photographer, specialising in lighting – kinda the opposite to my style really! but not at all: he’s such a nice guy and even gave me control of some of the formal portraits! Bret kindly gave me permission to publish some of my own favourite shots from the day – so here they are! first: preparation photos 🙂

many thanks to Nykie of Mistral Photography for shooting with me on the day (venue setup, groom preparation, ceremony, creative portraits, and reception)
