the wedding ceremony at Devonport’s Wilson Home Chapel was quite intricate – there were several unusual rituals which were observed: among which was the lighting of the unity candle with flame offered by both grandmothers; and the laying of the fine lace prayer shawl. several people spoke and there was a song accompanied by the bride’s uncle on guitar and harmonica.
and LOOK how long Jane’s wedding veil is – believe it or not: that’s the SHORT one!
many thanks to Nykie of Mistral Photography for shooting with me on the day (venue setup, groom preparation, ceremony, creative portraits, and reception)
